A Mini-Lab arrived end of September 2022 in Mosul, Iraq. The team received the first sample on 6 December 2022. Another Mini-Lab arrived in Maiduguri, Nigeria in October 2022 and started receiving samples on 16 January 2023.
The MSF implementors have done an excellent job in setting up the Mini-Lab, recruiting and training the local supervisors and technicians. Both Mini-Labs are expected to move into routine mode in the first half of 2023.
